Light Keeper’s Cottage

Historic lighthouse keeper’s cottage carefully restored from the foundation to the roof
These light keeper’s quarters were depicted in a 1927 Edward Hopper painting called “Captain Upton’s House.” With this in mind, we undertook a careful restoration and reproduction of historic elements inside and out. Wright-Ryan also installed brand new state-of-the art building systems to update the cottage. We crafted custom casework and exterior moldings in our Millwork division, all in keeping with the 19th-century character of the cottage.
