Built to overlook the iconic Maine lighthouse
This home, perched on a hill far above Portland Head Light, was built to maximize views of the passage and the surrounding scenery of the islands and the iconic lighthouse.
The living and sleeping spaces are configured in the top two floors while guests and lounging are at the ground level. The tall construction and high windows allow the summer breezes to naturally cool the most used spaces and the many porches and decks on each level allow for varied views and enjoyment of indoor/outdoor living.
An apartment is included in the home for family visits to Maine or others wishing to explore the surrounding beaches and habitat.
Custom cabinetry, vanities, and kitchen, built by Wright-Ryan Millwork, provide attractive and extremely functional storage for everyday items and the family’s young child.
